## Description

**Occupational Therapist / Part-time - Mountain View, CA (#25323)**  

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an **Occupational Therapist** to fill an opening with an Adult Day Care Center located in Mountain View, California

**Schedule of the Occupational Therapist:**

-   This is a Part-time position (20 hours per week)
-   On-site during our hours of operation
-   Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

**Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:**

-   Assessment and Person-Centered Care Planning for incoming and active participants.
-   Member of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist with carrying out the Team’s plan of care.
-   Provide Activities of Daily Living care to participants, as needed, and training of staff (grooming, dressing, hygiene, body mechanics).
-   Conduct in-home evaluations, as appropriate, for home safety considerations and recommendations.
-   Demonstrates safe practices by utilizing proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety.
-   Contribute to the welcoming environment, assisting participants as needed.
-   Supervise participants throughout the Center to ensure their safety, proper care, and comfort.
-   Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-services.
-   Ability to safely move upwards of 35 pounds.
-   Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and in-services.
-   Perform other related duties as assigned.

## Requirements

**Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:**

-   Must have graduated from an accredited school.
-   Must have a current California state license as a Registered Occupational Therapist/OT
-   Must have valid California Driver’s license, clean driving record, appropriate insurance and reliable vehicle
-   Must be able to cater to tasks with physical demands (lift, transfer, push/pull, maneuver, reposition, etc.)
