## Description

Apogee Global RMs is seeking for a Cloud Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure to design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that support enterprise‑scale applications, modernization initiatives, and secure cloud operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on architect who can translate business needs into scalable, resilient, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions.

**Job Duties:**

-   Architect end‑to‑end cloud solutions across AWS and/or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence
-   Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
-   Design cloud‑native architectures using services such as EC2, Lambda, AKS/EKS, API Gateway, App Services, VPC, IAM, and more
-   Partner with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver high‑impact cloud solutions
-   Develop reference architectures, best practices, and technical documentation
-   Conduct cloud assessments, cost optimization reviews, and performance tuning
-   Provide technical leadership and guidance across multi‑cloud environments
-   Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory frameworks

## Requirements

-   7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or solution design
-   Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS and/or Azure (multi‑cloud preferred)
-   Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud‑native applications
-   Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep
-   Strong understanding of networking, identity, security, and cloud governance
-   Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and container orchestration (AKS/EKS)
-   Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
-   Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) are a plus

**Nice to Have:**

-   Experience with hybrid cloud or on‑prem to cloud migrations
-   Background in security architecture or cloud compliance frameworks
-   Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost governance
