## Description

We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Assistant Manager within our Contentious Insolvency team. In this critical role, you will support the management and delivery of contentious insolvency and asset recovery projects, including supporting investigations into antecedent transactions, potential claims related to misfeasance or breach of duty, and asset tracing and recovery work.

Key Responsibilities:

-   Assist in managing a portfolio of contentious insolvency and asset recovery cases, taking ownership of individual workstreams and ensuring timely and effective delivery.
-   Review books and records and analyse complex financial information to identify potential claims, antecedent transactions and other recovery opportunities.
-   Prepare detailed reports, witness statements, and correspondence in support of cases.
-   Collaborate with legal teams, creditors, clients, and other stakeholders to support the development and implementation of case and recovery strategies.
-   Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.
-   Contribute to business development efforts by preparing pitches and participating in client meetings.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Law preferable but not necessary.
-   Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPI or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.
-   Minimum of one year of relevant experience in contentious insolvency.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
-   Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
