## Description

Westview International Language School is seeking a creative and passionate **Lower Elementary Art Teacher** to join our team for the next academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engaging art instruction to lower elementary students, fostering creativity, and encouraging artistic expression in a nurturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Plan and deliver age-appropriate art lessons that inspire creativity and artistic skills development.
-   Create a safe and encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable exploring various art materials and techniques.
-   Integrate art projects with broader curriculum topics to enhance overall learning.
-   Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
-   Organize student art displays and participate in school events related to the arts.
-   Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the holistic development of students.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
-   Experience teaching art to lower elementary or early childhood students is highly preferred.
-   A strong understanding of childhood development and age-appropriate art teaching methodologies.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young learners.
-   Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
-   Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-   Commitment to student safety and safeguarding policies.
-   Good Communication and classroom management skills.
