## Description

We are seeking an IT Asset Administrator to join our IT Operations team in an entry-level, hands-on role. This position is ideal for someone starting their career and looking to develop skills in IT Asset Mnaagement (ITAM).

You will support the day-to-day administration of IT assets, including hardware, software, and procurement records, ensuring accurate data, strong controls, and smooth operational processes.

Full training and support will be provided.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets across their lifecycle.
-   update asset records in the IT asset management system / CMDB
-   Assist with device onboarding, transfers, and offboarding activities.
-   Support software and license tracking under guidance from senior team members.
-   Raise and track IT purchase requests, purchase orders, and deliveries.
-   Assist with stocktake, audits, and reporting activities.
-   Respond to asset-related queries from IT, Finance, and business users.

**Knowledge, Skills Experience**

_**Essential**_

-   Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
-   Good communication skills (written and verbal).
-   Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and systems.
-   A proactive, willing-to-learn attitude.
-   Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.

_**Desirable (but not required)**_

-   Exposure to IT environments, service desks, or administration roles.
-   Basic understanding of IT hardware (laptops, monitors, peripherals).
-   Experience with Excel or similar tools.
-   Interest in IT operations, asset management, or procurement.
