To support our mission, we are seeking for a **Child Sponsorship Correspondence Officer**, to support and administer the ActionAid Hellas (AAH) activities related to standard mail correspondence with child sponsors in order to enable supporters’ commitment & retention. **This is a 15-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover.**

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Handle all bulk mail correspondence in order to be delivered on time and according to certain quality standards -   standard communication with child sponsors (child messages, photo updates, reports) - all mail correspondence from child sponsors to children including translation of sponsors’ letters where needed.
-   Effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders (country programmes CS teams, external mail providers, child sponsors) to ensure successful implementation of each year’s standard Child Sponsors’ postal communication plan.
-   Ensure prompt and excellent quality service to AAH individual donors’ requests and respond on time to all necessary actions.
-   Execute all necessary actions in the relevant databases (CRM, SK) as needed.
-   Follow up and update the yearly Supporter Correspondence & Bulk mail plan.
-   Support the team with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the smooth running of team activities and processes.
-   Always keep abreast of best practices and propose alternative ways for improvement.
-   Proactively provide alternate course of action and contingency plans if necessary.
-   Work effectively with relevant international teams to maximise the benefits of international collaboration & shared learning.
-   Act as an ActionAid Ambassador.

## Requirements

-   A Bachelor’s degree will be considered as an asset.
-   Excellent organisational, analytical and communications skills.
-   Demonstrated experience in the customer service sector will be considered as an asset.
-   Experience in CRM systems (preferably ERP - Entersoft) and use of MS Office programmes.
-   Very strong customer oriented personality, ability to identify customer needs, propose solutions and engage commitment.
-   Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
-   Excellent use of the Greek and the English language.
-   Very good understanding of human rights, global poverty & development issues.
