### About the Role

We're looking for a **Senior Engineering Manager** to lead the development of our internal software platform. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive architecture, mentor engineers, and build scalable software from the ground up while collaborating closely with executive leadership.

### Responsibilities

-   Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Full Stack Engineers.
-   Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions across the MERN stack.
-   Design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
-   Contribute production-quality code when required.
-   Review code and maintain high engineering standards.
-   Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Leadership to deliver business solutions.
-   Improve engineering processes, documentation, and development workflows.
-   Plan sprint deliverables and remove technical blockers.
-   Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent.
-   Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

### Requirements

-   6+ years of Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
-   2+ years of engineering leadership experience.
-   Strong expertise in **MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN Stack)**.
-   Experience designing scalable systems and REST APIs.
-   Hands-on experience with AWS, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
-   Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
-   Experience working in Agile environments.

### Nice to Have

-   TypeScript, Next.js
-   PostgreSQL, Redis
-   Docker & Kubernetes
-   Microservices and event-driven architecture
-   Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems
-   AI API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepgram, etc.)
-   Workflow automation tools (n8n or similar)
