## Description

Most Software Engineer roles in .NET environments talk about ownership. In reality, it often still comes down to picking up tickets internally.

This one is different.

You’ll be working on real client systems, building and improving applications in Azure, with input into how solutions are designed and delivered. Not just implementing, but understanding the “why” behind it.

**The environment**

This is a consultancy setup, so the work is varied.

You’ll typically:

- Work on end-to-end applications in Azure
- Move between projects depending on client needs
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to technical decisions, not just delivery

The setup is hybrid, but driven more by projects and clients rather than fixed remote working.

**Backend or Full Stack**

They are open to both:

**Backend / .NET focus:**

- C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core
- APIs, backend systems, Azure

**Full stack focus:**

- .NET + JavaScript (React, Angular or Vue)
- Building end-to-end features and user-facing applications

Strong fundamentals matter more than a perfect stack match.

**What matters here**

This isn’t about ticking every box technically.

They look for developers who:

- Have solid experience with .NET and modern development practices
- Are comfortable working with Azure (or open to it)
- Can take ownership of what they build
- Are able to communicate clearly, including with non-developers

A lot of developers are strong technically. Fewer are comfortable in this kind of environment.

**Development & growth**

One of the stronger parts of this environment is how people develop.

- Dedicated internal learning programme
- 2,500 annual training budget
- 5 study days per year
- Regular knowledge sharing sessions

The expectation is that you keep progressing, not stay static on one stack or project.

**Salary & benefits**

- 3,000 – 6,000 per month (depending on experience and role)
- Bonus (profit sharing)
- Mobility allowance or lease car
- 26 days holiday + 8% holiday pay
- 3,500 hardware budget

**Other details**

- Based in Zwolle
- Dutch language required
- Driving licence needed
- 32–40 hours
