## Description

Select Ambition is supporting a confidential accountancy practice in County Meath with the appointment of a Senior Practice Accountant.

This permanent, full-time position pays €50,000–€60,000 per year. It follows a five-day working week, with the possibility of working from home for up to two days each week.

The role combines technically sound accountancy work with direct client relationships and the development of junior colleagues. You will oversee year-end accounts and tax submissions, contribute to audit and audit-exempt assignments under Irish GAAP and FRS 102 Section 1A, manage deadlines and help resolve technical matters.

You will work with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger sole traders, providing clear advice and identifying practical opportunities to improve service and processes. The successful person will also review work prepared by trainees and junior accountants and can progress towards broader portfolio, operational and leadership responsibility.

Accountants completing tax examinations, or interested in beginning them, can receive an appropriate study package. All applications will be handled in confidence.
