### 📊 Job Description: Data Analyst

**Position Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled **Data Analyst** to manage and analyze a large inventory database of approximately **200,000 SKU numbers**. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Microsoft Excel**, particularly advanced functions such as **VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Power Query**, to ensure accurate reporting, data validation, and actionable insights. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to transform raw data into meaningful business intelligence.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Maintain, clean, and validate SKU-level data across multiple sources.
-   Use Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) to organize, reconcile, and analyze large datasets.
-   Generate accurate inventory, sales, and performance reports for management.
-   Identify data discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, procurement) to provide data-driven insights.
-   Develop dashboards and reporting templates to streamline decision-making.
-   Ensure data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality in all reporting activities.

### ✅ Qualifications

**Education & Experience**

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field**.
-   Minimum **2–3 years of experience** in data analysis, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or inventory-heavy industries.

**Technical Skills**

-   Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, conditional formatting, data validation).
-   Strong knowledge of **data cleaning, reconciliation, and reporting techniques**.
-   Familiarity with **SQL** or other database tools is an advantage.
-   Experience with **Power BI** or similar visualization tools is a plus.
