Re18 is getting closer to fulfilling its mission & we are seeking a skilled, determined and hands-on Security Engineer to join our Engineering team.

**Your responsibilities will include**

-   Design and maintain security controls for applications, infrastructure and cloud environments
-   Process, prioritize and follow up on security assessment reports, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for remediation
-   Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), network segmentation and device security controls
-   Suggest and setup security monitoring, detection and alerting systems
-   Conduct and support security incident investigations, log analysis and root cause evaluations
-   Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into all phases of development and operations
-   Support compliance initiatives and assist in maintaining standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA
-   Other tasks as assigned 

**What you will need**

-   3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering roles 
-   Hands-on experience in securing web applications, operating systems, and networks

-   Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
-   Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and secure architecture principles
-   Be able to apply all your recommendations, findings and security mitigations yourself with technical hands on experience. Not just as a consultant.
-   Experience with endpoint protection platforms is a plus

-   Excellent communication skills in English and Greek, both written and verbal
-   Analytical mindset with attention to detail
-   Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
