**Our client**
They're a fast-growing **DTC eCommerce** accessory brand where creative is a major driver of profitable growth. Their marketing strategy is built around rapid experimentation, performance-driven creative, and continuously improving what works across paid social.

They're looking for a Creative Strategist who is highly hands-on and execution-oriented, with strong experience turning growth priorities and performance data into creative briefs, tests, and iterations.

This role sits within the Creative team and reports directly to the Creative Lead.

**The Role**

As they expand into new categories, they’re looking for a Creative Strategist who can turn customer insights, performance data, and bold ideas into paid social creative that drives profitable growth.

The Creative Strategist will own the paid social experimentation process, from research and concept development to briefing, performance analysis, and iteration.

This is a highly creative but deeply commercial role. Every idea should be grounded in a clear hypothesis, and every result should inform what we create next.

This is a remote, contractor role.

**What will you do?**

1\. Creative strategy & experimentation

- Deliver at least 10 high-quality paid social experiment briefs per week or maintain an equivalent approved backlog.
- Build every experiment around a clear insight, hypothesis, audience, angle, and success metric.
- Maintain a minimum creative hit rate of 25%, measured against agreed performance benchmarks such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, and conversion rate.
- Maintain a healthy mix of new concepts, proven iterations, hooks, formats, offers, and messaging angles.
- Prioritize experiments based on commercial impact, learning potential, and available production resources.

2\. Creative performance analysis

- Analyze creative performance to understand what is working, what is not, and why.
- Translate data into clear recommendations for new concepts and iterations.
- Evaluate variables such as hooks, messaging, formats, talent, products, audiences, and landing-page alignment.
- Report weekly on creative output, hit rate, key learnings, and next actions.
- Maintain a strong feedback loop between performance insights and the production pipeline.

3\. Consumer, competitor & trend research

- Conduct ongoing research into competitors, customers, category developments, and paid social trends.
- Identify new formats, messaging approaches, cultural moments, and customer pain points that can become strong advertising concepts.
- Present fresh creative angles and opportunities to the team each week.
- Maintain an organized library of winning creatives, competitor examples, customer insights, and creative inspiration.

4\. Creative briefing & production

- Turn insights into clear, actionable briefs for content creators, graphic designers, video editors, influencers, and external partners.
- Provide strong direction on the hook, narrative, messaging, format, visual execution, and intended audience.
- Review creative output and provide clear feedback to ensure it delivers against the original strategy.
- Manage external creative agencies and UGC platforms such as Trybe to maintain a steady flow of net-new content, from creator sourcing and briefing through feedback, delivery, and performance review.

5\. Cross-functional collaboration

- Partner with Performance Marketing to align creative priorities with account performance and commercial goals.
- Work with Influencer Marketing to identify creators and concepts with strong paid-media potential.
- Collaborate with Organic Social to turn successful organic formats into paid concepts and share paid learnings with the organic team.
- Use insights from CRM, customer feedback, reviews, and lifecycle performance to strengthen creative messaging.
- Support major campaigns and product launches while maintaining a consistent flow of evergreen testing.

6\. Tracking & creative operations

- Maintain accurate systems for tracking briefs, production status, experiment variables, results, and learnings.
- Ensure experiments launch with the correct naming conventions, tracking, and success criteria.
- Proactively investigate discrepancies in creative data or experiment execution.
- Keep stakeholders informed about performance, production capacity, bottlenecks, and upcoming priorities.

## Requirements

- Have min. 3 years of experience in creative strategy, with a strong link to performance marketing, ideally in e-commerce or DTC.

- Can write clear, actionable briefs that content creators, designers, editors, and UGC partners can run with.
- Are curious about the category, always tracking competitors, customer pain points, and new formats to turn into fresh angles.

- Working at the forefront of e-commerce and digital advertising, in a fast-growing, international environment.
- Have creative freedom while working on performance-driven projects.
