## Description

This role provides the chance to become part of an expanding ALG Solutions team, and an opportunity to create an impact in a firm that is transforming how legal professionals deliver legal services. The role sits within the eDiscovery and Investigations support team of ALG Solutions.                

Working with ALG Solutions teams, as well as the firm's practice groups, the Senior eDiscovery Technology Specialists will be required to provide technical and professional support to cover the full eDiscovery EDRM lifecycle and co-ordinate complex data processing and review tasks, leveraging advanced Relativity features. The role acts as a technical point of contact for troubleshooting and workflow optimisation and will support initiatives that ensure ALG remains at the forefront of digital analysis and technology-enabled eDiscovery services.

As part of a forward-looking and technology-driven team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation in legal services, with a particular focus on emerging technologies and Generative AI. ALG Solutions is actively exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions across eDiscovery, investigations and legal workflows, including the use of advanced analytics, machine learning and GenAI-assisted review tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape how these technologies are applied in practice, contribute to the development of new solutions, and play a key role in the evolution of technology-enabled legal services.

This role is a predominantly business facing role but some client facing activity is possible. 

This role will report to the eDiscovery Technology Manager.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

-   Deliver high-quality client service, ensuring work is executed to agreed standards & timelines.
-   Provide senior support on eDiscovery projects from scoping to closure, ensuring best-practice use of ALGS workflows and tools across:

-   data collection
-   data management
-   processing
-   document review
-   production deliveries

-   Lead the delivery of complex eDiscovery and data-related workstreams, ensuring outputs are client-ready and technically sound
-   Engage directly with clients to understand needs, refine requirements, and propose appropriate technical and workflow solutions.
-   Proactively manage changing priorities, ensuring effective tracking, documentation and communication across stakeholders.
-   Provide guidance, knowledge-sharing and support to junior colleagues across tools, workflows, and best practices.
-   Conduct advanced troubleshooting, triage, and root-cause analysis across RelativityOne and related systems.
-   Analyse usage patterns, data behaviours, and review strategies to inform continuous improvement.
-   Review and approve user acceptance/test plans, data migration plans, and workflow designs from junior staff.
-   Present solution features and analysis to project teams and clients with clarity and confidence.
-   Identify workflow efficiencies and contribute to enhancement of ALGS standards, guidance notes and processes.
-   Support prioritisation and scheduling discussions with internal teams and sponsors.

**Skills and Experience required:**

-   5+ years of experience in similar role
-   Significant eDiscovery experience with advanced Relativity/Nuix capabilities; strong advantage if holding RCA or equivalent certifications.
-   Demonstrated expertise in triaging complex defects and proactively preventing issues.
-   Proven ability to build rapport, inspire confidence and maintain productive client relationships.
-   Interest in developments in Generative AI and a desire to remain at the forefront of innovation in legal technology and eDiscovery.
-   Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting structured insights and anticipating stakeholder needs.
-   Ability to manage multiple engagements, independently track progress, and escalate appropriately.
-   Strong analytical skills, using quantitative data to guide decisions.
-   Experience supporting requirement-gathering workshops and reviewing technical documentation.
-   Ability to mentor junior colleagues and enhance team capability.
-   Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a changing environment with minimal supervision.
-   High level of professionalism and accountability; handles sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care
-   A self-starter who is comfortable in, and committed to, working through ambiguity with an ability to take the initiative
-   Flexibility to work beyond office hours on occasion
-   Previous Experience working in an eDiscovery environment at either a law firm, service provider, or in-house.
