To support our growth towards this ambition, we’re looking for a TypeScript Engineer.

### Your new role

We are looking for a new member to help strengthen our products and applications (microservices).

As a TypeScript Engineer, you’ll be working as part of a feature team on our backend components (mostly) where frontend (React) and infra (AWS) knowledge are a must. We’re powered by AWS serverless products such as API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, SQS, etc.

You have concrete and relevant experience in design and development in microservices and event-driven architectures.

### We’re looking for someone who has

-   Extensive Experience of the JavaScript and the NodeJS ecosystem (TypeScript preferred)
-   Good knowledge of modern Frontend JavaScript frameworks (React preferred) 
-   Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, etc.
-   Experience with Docker and containerized applications
-   Strong experience with designing, managing and working with synchronous (REST APIs) and asynchronous communication patterns (Event driven architectures)
-   Python knowledge/experience is a major plus
-   Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) experience is a major plus 
-   In addition to technical skills, the successful applicant should possess durable skills such as empathy, communication, (self-)leadership, organisation, time management, and presentation skills. These are only some examples.

### What you’ll be doing

-   Collaborate on architecture, technical design and the building of  
    applications so that together with fellow software engineers you help to  
    improve the team’s competency
-   Produce clean, stable, fast and well-architected code
-   Own the quality of the code you produce by taking measures to build it  
    in and keep it high. This includes writing unit, integration and E2E tests
-   Own and operate the backend of New10 together with your teammates  
    by rotating through on-call incident management shifts
-   Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
-   Closely collaborate and ensure alignment with the rest of the team –  
    frontend, Salesforce, PO, business analyst, UX designer and data analyst
