**OBJECTIVE** 

Day Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in client facilities throughout the day, ensuring scheduled tasks are completed efficiently and client expectations are met.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** 

-   Properly mix disinfectant solutions according to guidelines.
-   Operate and maintain electrostatic sprayer equipment correctly.
-   Follow daily route sheets to complete scheduled services.
-   Communicate with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction.
-   Send daily service recaps to the supervisor.
-   Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
-   Keep janitorial equipment clean, safe, and operable.
-   Ensure proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
-   Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-   Perform other routine janitorial duties as assigned.
-   Use the timekeeping system to verify all hours worked.
-   Communicate any daily priorities or schedule changes with immediate supervisor.
-   Address and resolve client complaints or requests per City Wide policy.
-   Maintain communication with clients through supervisors or logbooks.
-   Travel to assigned locations as required.

## Requirements

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS** 

-   Ability to perform routine walking, standing, and bending for extended periods. 

-   Ability to carry items weighing less than 50 lbs. independently; items over 50 lbs require team lifting. 

-   Reliable transportation or plan to relocate to St. Augustine, FL, Or Jacksonville, FL prior to starting. 

-   Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. 

**Physical Demands** 

This role requires physical stamina for extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Team lifting is required for items over 50 lbs. 

**ENVIRONMENT** 

Work is performed on-site in client offices and facilities under varying conditions.
