## Description

**About the Role**

We're looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Financial Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, month end close, expense management, reporting, and cross-functional projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment where no two days look the same.

You'll have exposure across all areas of finance and help build scalable processes as the company grows.

**Responsibilities**

**Financial Analysis & Reporting**

-   Prepare recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards.
-   Analyze monthly financial results and investigate budget to actual variances.
-   Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting.
-   Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning.
-   Build ad hoc financial models and analyses to support business decisions.

**Month-End Close**

-   Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
-   Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
-   Assist with accruals and prepaid schedules.
-   Help ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

**Expense & T&E Management**

-   Administer the company's travel and expense program.
-   Review employee expense reports for policy compliance.
-   Manage corporate credit card reconciliations.
-   Partner with employees to resolve expense related questions.

**Ad Hoc Projects**

-   Respond to requests from leadership with timely financial analysis.
-   Support operational initiatives across sales, marketing and operations.
-   Improve financial processes through automation and documentation.
-   Assist with audit, tax, banking, and financing requests.
-   Participate in systems implementations and process improvements.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
-   2–5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or investment banking.
-   Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas; Power Query is a plus).
-   Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
-   Comfortable working with large datasets and financial modeling.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
-   Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-changing startup environment.
-   Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
