## Description

**Position Summary**

Liberty Behavioral & Community Services, Inc., a leading provider of services for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, is committed to fostering independence, inclusion, and personal growth for our participants.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive **HR Coordinator** to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient HR processes, maintaining compliance, and delivering a positive experience for both employees and candidates.

## Requirements

### **Administrative Support**

-   Provide administrative support to the HR team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and file organization
-   Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence, reports, and internal communications

### **Record Management**

-   Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (both physical and digital) in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
-   Update and manage employee information in HRIS and other systems

### **Onboarding & Offboarding**

-   Coordinate onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and conducting background checks
-   Support new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
-   Assist with offboarding processes, including processing terminations, collecting company property, and maintaining records

### **Recruitment Coordination**

-   Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates in a professional and timely manner
-   Partner with Talent Acquisition to track candidate progress and maintain applicant data in the ATS (Workable preferred)

### **Compliance & Reporting**

-   Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
-   Maintain accurate documentation and assist with audits as needed
-   Prepare routine HR reports and support data tracking initiatives

### **Employee Services**

-   Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and external parties
-   Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives

### **General HR Support**

-   Assist with HR projects, events, and initiatives as assigned
-   Stay informed on HR best practices, policies, and regulatory changes

**Qualifications**

### **Education & Experience**

-   Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
-   Minimum of **1–2 years of administrative experience**; HR experience is a plus

### **Skills & Competencies**

-   Strong verbal and written communication skills
-   Excellent organizational and time management abilities
-   High level of attention to detail and accuracy
-   Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
-   Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across all levels of the organization

### **Technical Skills**

-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-   Familiarity with HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably **Workable**
-   Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
