## Description

UTEC, Acteon’s Geo-services business line, harnesses data to optimize designs, save time, and maximize your project’s economic value by providing a holistic understanding of the marine environment. Our insights underpin customers’ decision-making from design to asset life extension, ensuring every decision delivers.

UTEC is looking to add a qualified **Senior Buyer** to the team.  The Senior Buyer will lead strategic and complex procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services essential to operations, ensuring quality, competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the company’s operational and financial objectives through effective supplier management and high-value negotiations.

The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

**Duties**

-   Negotiate the purchase of items such as spare parts, components, consumables, and services to meet project demands, in accordance with company procedures
-   Develop and qualify new suppliers
-   Issue NDAs and other internal documents for critical suppliers
-   Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in the Business Central system
-   Manage and respond to purchase requisitions generated by projects
-   Negotiate pricing agreements and small contracts for recurring materials and services
-   Procure facilities-related services and supplies

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or related fields)
-   Advanced English skills (spoken and written)
-   Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar position
-   Experience in the oil and gas industry
-   Experience providing customer service/support to Petrobras
-   Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
-   Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
-   Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision
