-   **SCHEDULE: Full-time | Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We're seeking a dependable and hands-on **Facilities Maintenance Technician (Painter)** to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of a residential community. This role is ideal for someone with painting and general maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of tasks and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and management team, you will perform interior and exterior painting, routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and support day-to-day building operations to ensure an exceptional living experience for residents.

### What You'll Do

### Painting & Maintenance

-   Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, drywall repairs, sanding, priming, and color matching.
-   Complete basic maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, minor electrical repairs, carpentry work, hardware replacement, and HVAC filter changes.
-   Conduct routine inspections of building equipment and safety devices.
-   Help maintain clean, organized, and well-presented common areas and maintenance spaces.

### Building Operations & Resident Support

-   Assist with move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas, protecting elevators, and supporting building logistics.
-   Coordinate access for vendors, contractors, and service providers.
-   Perform walkthrough inspections before and after vendor work to ensure quality standards are maintained.
-   Support general property upkeep, package handling, and common area maintenance as needed.

## Requirements

### What You Need to Succeed

-   High school diploma or equivalent required.
-   Previous experience in painting, maintenance, facilities support, apartment communities, hotels, or similar environments preferred.
-   Experience with drywall repair, painting preparation, and basic maintenance tasks.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
-   Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
-   Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills.
-   Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-   Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies when needed.
-   Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
