## Description

A well-established Greek company in the nutritional supplements sector, is looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting function and support financial operations. The company operates with a holistic health approach, holds a strong position in the Greek pharmacy market, and demonstrates a dynamic export activity, with a growing presence in international markets.

**Responsibilities**

-   Oversee the full accounting function and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
-   Supervise and mentor a team of 3 accounting professionals
-   Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations
-   Manage cost accounting and product costing processes
-   Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations
-   Monitor and optimize accounting processes and internal controls
-   Coordinate import–export accounting activities, including VAT and customs-related transactions
-   Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory authorities and external (outsourced) accountants
-   Ensure compliance with Greek GAAP and relevant tax legislation
-   Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic decision-making

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-   Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
-   Previous experience in pharmaceutical or OTC and consumer healthcare sector
-   Strong background in Accounting Management & Cost Analysis
-   Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting
-   Hands-on experience with SoftOne ERP
-   Experience managing or supervising a small team
-   Class A signing rights (optional, considered a plus)
-   Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
-   Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
-   Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
-   Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
