### **The Role**

Simply.TV is all about creating the world's best and richest TV, movie and series data. With thousands of new titles releasing every month across global platforms, we need passionate people to help us build, maintain and continuously improve our content database — ensuring world-class user experiences for TV operators globally.

As a TV & Movie Data Editor, you will be at the heart of this mission. You'll research, edit and quality-check metadata for movies, TV series and programmes, making sure every piece of content in our database is ready to delight our clients.This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves film and television, has an eye for detail sharp enough to catch errors others miss, and takes real pride in delivering data that shines.

### Responsibilities:

-   To understand the needs of the project into the finest details.
-   Enhance programs according to the highest standards, taking into account our internal guidelines, local knowledge, and your own critical expertise.
-   Conduct research and find all background information about movies and TV series available.
-   Ensure identical and duplicate programs have been merged. 
-   Double check your work and correct any outstanding inconsistencies. 
-   Ensure the data delivered to clients is accurate, complete, and held to the highest quality standards, every time.

## Requirements

**You'll thrive in this role if you:**

-   Have a university degree in a relevant area preferred (e.g. Business, Data, Media) , equivalent experience considered.
-   Have exceptional written & spoken English skills
-   Work very structured, and are so detail oriented that you can spot errors from a mile away
-   Love working at a fast pace
-   Are very comfortable with data search, computers, and data bases
-   Get energy from learning something new and making yourself better every day
-   Have great collaborative skills that make others love working with you

### Practicalities

-   Reports to: Editorial Project Manager
-   Employment Type: Freelancer
-   Location: Pakistan
-   Role Type: Remote (40hrs/week)

## Benefits

Collaboration based on a contractor set-up is 350 EUR per month on a full-time allocation basis (40 hours per week). Weekend and evening work in agreement against extra pay.
