## Description

### Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced **Waters UPLC Service/Field Engineer or qualified chromatography specialist** for a short-term onsite assignment. The specialist will perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance verification on two Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class systems in a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory.

The role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and accurate documentation in accordance with applicable GxP/GMP requirements and customer procedures.

Key Responsibilities

-   Perform preventive maintenance on two Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class systems.
-   Complete required calibration and performance verification activities in accordance with applicable procedures.
-   Inspect and test relevant instrument components to verify proper operation.
-   Diagnose and resolve basic operational or performance issues identified during maintenance and calibration.
-   Prepare complete, accurate, and traceable service, calibration, and maintenance records.
-   Follow applicable GxP/GMP, laboratory safety, and data integrity requirements.
-   Coordinate onsite activities with the customer and provide a summary of completed work, findings, and any recommended follow-up actions.

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications

-   Demonstrated hands-on experience with **Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class systems**.
-   Practical experience performing UPLC/HPLC calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification.
-   Experience working in **GxP/GMP-regulated pharmaceutical laboratories**.
-   Ability to independently execute onsite service activities and complete the required technical documentation.
-   Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
-   Availability for a short-term onsite assignment in East Hanover, New Jersey.

Preferred Qualifications

-   Previous Waters service or field engineering experience, or relevant manufacturer training or certification.
-   Experience with **Empower CDS**, including troubleshooting instrument communication and software connectivity issues.
