## Description

### Digital Marketing Specialist

Autohive | Auckland, Wellington or remote within New Zealand | Full-time, permanent

### About Autohive

Autohive is the AI agent marketplace built for the people doing the work. We help agencies, operators, and SMB teams find, build, and run AI agents that take real work off their plate.

Marketers are one of our biggest crowds. We are quietly rewriting how a small marketing team operates, and the marketing segment of Autohive is one of our most active. Agents do the repetitive work. Humans do the thinking. It is honestly an awesome way to work, and we want someone who is going to get a kick out of being in it.

We are small, fast-moving, and do not wait for permission. We ship, measure, learn, and ship again. We use our own agents to do our own marketing. We do not believe in big teams; we believe in small teams with sharp tools.

### The role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who wants to live inside the funnel. Someone who looks at a sign-up rate and immediately wants to know which channel, which page, which message, and what we can change tomorrow.

You will work directly alongside our Marketing Operations Lead. They cover brand, content, campaigns, events, and strategy. You will own the execution of the channels and the experiments that turn visitors into customers. Together you are the marketing function.

This is a hands-on execution role. You will spend the majority of your time inside the channels, the campaigns, the experiments, and the data. You will be coached, stretched, and set up to grow into the funnel and analytics side of marketing fast.

### What you will do

### Run digital channels (around half your time)

- Plan and run paid acquisition across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta into our validated ICP markets
- Manage the SEO and AEO foundations and on-page work
- Build, ship, and optimise lifecycle email and nurture sequences in HubSpot
- Keep the tech stack tidy and connected so data flows where it needs to

### Experiment and measure (around a third of your time)

- Run A/B tests across landing pages, sign-up flows, and the marketplace experience
- Pull weekly performance data from HubSpot, GA4 and Looker, and keep dashboards current
- Spot drop-off points, propose fixes, and measure whether the fixes worked
- Contribute to the weekly funnel review the Marketing Operations Lead runs into leadership

### Work alongside AI agents (the rest of your time)

- Use Autohive agents in your day-to-day to do more, faster, with less
- Spec new agents for repetitive marketing tasks and work with our team to build them
- Be a living case study for how a modern marketer works with AI in the loop

### What good looks like in your first 90 days

- Paid acquisition is running cleanly across your channels, with weekly reporting the team can read
- One conversion lift you can point at and say, that was me, with the test data to back it up
- Lifecycle and nurture emails live in HubSpot, tracked, and improving week on week
- You can answer the basic channel question with confidence: where are our best customers coming from
- At least one Autohive agent live in your own workflow

## Requirements

### You are probably the right fit if

- You have 2 to 3 years in digital marketing, in agency, in-house, or a mix of both
- You have hands-on experience with at least two of: paid search, paid social, email marketing, SEO, lifecycle marketing
- You are comfortable in HubSpot or a similar CRM and marketing automation platform, and you can read campaign reports in GA4 or equivalent
- You are curious about the funnel. You might not own attribution today, but you want to. You ask why a number went up, not just whether it did
- You can write a clear email, a tidy landing page, and a brief that does not waste anyone's time
- You are AI-native or close to it. You are excited about working with agents, not nervous about it
- You can ship at 80 percent and iterate, rather than polish forever
- You want to be coached, stretched, and given room to grow

### Bonus points

- You have worked in or marketed to agencies, SMB operators, or both
- You have run experiments end to end and can talk us through the wins and the losses honestly
- You have used AI tools to ship marketing work and can show what you built
- You have a curiosity about product as much as about marketing
- You have touched BI or dashboarding tools, even lightly

## Benefits

### What we offer

- A front-row seat in one of the most interesting product categories of the decade
- A genuinely fun way to work. Agents in your stack, experiments in your week, real growth in your role
- A small, capable team where your work is visible, your wins are yours, and your learning curve is steep
- Real ownership of the channels and experiments that move the numbers
- Auckland or Wellington base, remote-friendly across New Zealand
- Competitive salary and clear career growth tied to outcomes, not time served

**This role is open to New Zealand-based applicants only. We are not considering applications from outside NZ, as same time zone collaboration is essential to how the team works. We welcome applicants of every background. If you need any adjustments to the process, just tell us.**
