## Description

Automotive Assembly Operator – 1st Shift

**Location:** Sterling Heights, MI — near 18 Mile Rd. & Van Dyke Ave.  
**Starting Pay:** $15.50/hour  
**Pay Increase:** $17.00/hour after 90 days  
**Shift:** 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM  
**Weekends & Overtime:** As needed based on production requirements

Position Overview

We are hiring **Assembly Operators** to join a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking to build experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.

As an Assembly Operator, you will work as part of a production team assembling automotive components while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

-   Assemble automotive components according to work instructions and specifications
-   Operate basic production equipment and hand tools
-   Inspect parts for quality and defects
-   Maintain a clean and organized work area
-   Follow all company safety and production procedures
-   Meet established production and quality goals
-   Work effectively as part of a team

## Requirements

-   Must be able to pass a **national background check**
-   Reliable attendance and punctuality
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
-   Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
-   Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-   Previous manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Pay

-   **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
-   **Monday–Friday**
-   Weekend work may be required depending on production needs
-   Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs
-   **Starting pay: $15.50/hour**
-   **Increase to $17.00/hour after 90 days**, based on meeting employment requirements
