## Description

Boiler Tube Company of America is looking for an experienced Welder to become a vital part of our dynamic team. As leaders in the supply of boiler pressure parts and quick-response solutions, we are committed to ensuring our clients' systems are operational without long delays. With our state-of-the-art facilities in Lyman and Wellford, SC, we maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and efficiency in our operations. The Welder will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include welding pressure parts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all work complies with industry standards. ### Responsibilities

-   Execute welding tasks on various boiler components using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques.
-   Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality welds.
-   Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
-   Perform inspections and quality assessments on completed welds to guarantee compliance with standards.
-   Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
-   Collaborate with other trades and team members to achieve project milestones.
-   Address and rectify any welding-related issues promptly and efficiently.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
-   Minimum of 2 years of welding experience, preferably in the boiler or manufacturing industry.
-   Proficiency with multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and materials.
-   Understanding of ASME welding codes and standards.
-   Strong attention to detail and work ethic, with a commitment to producing quality results.
-   Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
-   Willingness to work adhering to flexible schedules and overtime as necessary.
