## Description

**Xillium Professional Services** is a leading clinical support outsourcing company based in the Philippines, specializing in virtual medical assistant services for US healthcare providers. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in supporting clinics and healthcare professionals remotely, ensuring seamless patient care and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

-   Managing patient scheduling for appointments, surgeries, and procedures
-   Handling prescription refills and coordinating medications
-   Performing insurance verification and supporting medical billing processes
-   Maintaining and updating patient medical records
-   Supporting telehealth consultations and virtual care coordination
-   Facilitating communication between patients, families, and medical staff
-   Providing general administrative and operational support to assigned clinics or providers

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications:

-   BS Nursing or allied health graduate (registered or underboard)
-   Background working in a BPO healthcare account or clinical/hospital setting
-   US healthcare insurance verification experience
-   Prior HIPAA/PHI handling experience or HIPAA training
-   Professional fluency in English (written and verbal)
-   Based in NCR, Cebu, or Davao (Philippines)
-   Able to work a fixed night shift
-   Work-from-home setup with a laptop/PC, reliable internet connection, and headset

### Preferred Qualifications:

-   Experience handling patient scheduling for healthcare providers (appointments, procedures, or surgeries)
-   Experience using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks (ECW), or Athenahealth
-   Experience handling patient communications across phone, email, SMS, patient portals, and telehealth platforms
