## Description

We are looking for a Middle School English Teacher for a bilingual school based in Kunming. This position is available from the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning in August 2026.

About the school

Located in Kunming’s Chenggong District, this private non-profit school offers a bilingual and international learning environment with IB programmes across primary, middle school, and university preparation levels. The school uses small-class teaching and draws on the educational experience of a well-established Beijing-based school group, providing students with a globally minded curriculum, diverse extracurricular activities, and a strong pathway toward international university preparation.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach English language to middle school students following the IB MYP framework, while creating an engaging and enriching learning experience for students.
-   Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive and safe learning environments

## Requirements

-   Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
-   Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
-   Teaching certificate is a plus
-   Excellent communications skills
