## Description

**About LawY**

LawY is on a mission: to help legal professionals reclaim their time with AI they actually trust and that understands them.

At LawY, you're not selling generic AI: you're helping legal professionals reclaim their time and deliver better outcomes for their clients and stakeholders. Built by lawyers, we've spent two years listening, learning, and evolving our AI-native workspace. Now it’s available as a standalone subscription, expanding from trusted legal research into drafting, contract intelligence, and matter analysis.

You'll be joining at the most exciting inflection point: we've proven product-market fit, our users genuinely love what we've built, and we're scaling a solution that lawyers actually want to adopt. If you want to build something that genuinely helps people do meaningful work better, this is it.

**What you’ll do**

LawY's product and customer base are growing - and so is our marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll spend 60% of your time on design and 40% across other hands-on areas of marketing. This is a high volume, fast-paced role - your designs will be digital-first creative that drives leads, brings our product to life, and gets tested in front of thousands of lawyers. You'll learn from a tight crew of experienced creatives and performance marketers who will back you, train you, and give you the runway to grow into a sharp, commercially minded designer.

**To make this happen you will:**

- Produce a high volume of digital-first creative across ads, social tiles, landing pages, ebooks, email and product mock-ups – with room to bring subtle motion design into the mix if that’s your thing
- Help launch, test and iterate campaigns – push live, watch what works, and adapt based on what the data tells you
- Own our branded merch end-to-end – designing new items, keeping stock sorted and well-stored, and getting it out the door for events and customer activations
- Be on the ground when it counts – packing and shipping, setting up event stalls, and lending a hand at our verifier nights and in-person events
- Cover the smaller print and physical assets we still need – event banners, flyers, digital business cards
- Pitch in on campaign brainstorms and creative concepts alongside Ruby (Performance), Marcus (Product) and Zach (Creative Lead) – bringing a fresh perspective
- Support the marketing ops side – scheduling and publishing social, sending email campaigns, and updating website pages
- Keep the brand consistent and our asset library, templates and guidelines tidy and up to date (style guide stays as is – you’ll execute it sharply)
- Take small projects end-to-end as you grow, with runway to stretch into bigger responsibilities

**What you’ll bring**

- **A strong design portfolio – this is non-negotiable.** We want to see how you think, the range you can cover and what you’ve actually shipped
- **Some form of design training** – a bachelor’s in visual or graphic design, a Billy Blue cert, or you’re self-taught and can prove it through the work
- **1–3 years of experience** – internships, freelance or junior design roles all count, and we’re genuinely open to grads with a strong portfolio
- **Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite** (Figma a plus).
- **Clear, concise writing in English** and comfort with marketing copy basics
- **Bonus points** for any exposure to HubSpot (or equivalent) and a curiosity about how AI is reshaping creative work

**You are the type of person who**

- Is a designer at heart who's genuinely curious about marketing, performance and AI
- Treats a creative that doesn't win as data, not a defeat, and iterates quickly
- Is comfortable moving between big and small tasks, a hero ad in the morning and packing merch in the afternoon
- Brings energy to brainstorms, events and the team
- Is open to feedback and able to keep moving in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment

LawY is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.
