As a Barber Instructor, you will have a direct impact on the education of our students, teaching essential barbering techniques and fostering a passion for the craft. **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and deliver instructional lessons that meet curriculum standards in barbering.
-   Conduct hands-on demonstrations and practical workshops to educate students on cutting, styling, and grooming techniques.
-   Assess student progress and provide feedback to foster improvement.
-   Create an engaging and positive classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and motivation.
-   Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the curriculum.
-   Engage in faculty development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
-   Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom and salon environment.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **Active Barber Educator License in the State of Illinois.**
-   Previous experience as a barber or relevant professional in the field is required.
-   Teaching experience or certification in Barbering Education is preferred.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Passion for teaching and mentoring students in their career development.
