## Description

**Make a Real Impact as a KS2 SEN Tutor**

Are you a passionate, friendly educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors who’ll provide personalised 1-1 support for KS2 level students in English, Maths and Science. These **in-person** sessions in Haringey offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

-   This job is **in-person** in the **Haringey area**
-   **Hour(s):** 10 hours per week
-   **Available Day(s) and Time(s):** Monday - Friday, during school hours
-   **Contract length:** Ongoing
-   **Subject and Level:** KS2 English, Maths and Science
-   **Start Date:** Mid September 2026
-   **Rate of Pay:** £35 p/h

**What You'll Do:**

-   Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
-   Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
-   Provide targeted support for students
-   Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
-   Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
-   Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
-   Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

## Requirements

**We're looking for someone who has:**

-   A Bachelor’s degree or Specialist SEN training
-   2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
-   Experience working with students with PDA is essential
-   Experience working with students with autism
-   An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-   The right to be self employed in the UK
