In this role, you will modernize and optimize the developer experience across our build and release ecosystem, while managing the release lifecycle for our flagship suite of applications. This role focuses on evolving our legacy Jenkins-based build environments into a scalable, hybrid CI/CD ecosystem spanning on-premise and cloud infrastructure, improving artifact management, integrating with modern software lifecycle tools, and ensuring smooth, well-governed release processes for major and maintenance updates. You will support our global R&D teams, who develop cloud and on-premise software solutions across Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms. **Key Responsibilities** **Build Modernization** o   Support development teams as they migrate from **Bitbucket Server** and legacy **Windows** and **Linux Jenkins** build machines to **GitHub** and **GitHub Actions** on hosted and self-hosted runners, ensuring minimal disruption. o   Improve artifact storage and retrieval processes. o   Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using **Terraform.** o   Monitor performance, optimize costs, and automate everything that can be automated. **Release Management** o   Coordinate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases for a suite of applications: o   Major releases: 2–3 times per year. o   Maintenance releases and hotfixes: As needed. o   Improve release governance, workflows and documentation, automating as much as possible. o   Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements. **Software Lifecycle Tool Management** o   Tools include IDEs, AI developer tools (e.g. MCP-based integrations), issue tracking, code quality, static and dynamic security scanning, software composition analysis, artifact management, multi-cloud VM lifecycle management. o   Administer and maintain tools.  o   Connect CI/CD pipelines with tools. o   Provide business-hours support to the development teams.  Typical requests cover build failures, access requests and general tool-related questions. o   Stay current with cloud technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and tooling. **Required Skills & Experience** o   3–5 years of experience in Developer Experience, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related roles. o   Experience with **GitHub Actions, GitHub migration** and Git workflows. o   Experience with **CI/CD across hybrid environments**: on-premise Jenkins (Linux/Windows agents), GitHub Actions (hosted runners for Android/iOS; self-hosted runners on AWS EKS). o   Familiarity with mixed **Linux/Windows** self-hosted runner architectures o   Expertise in **containerization** (Docker). o   Experience with **Kubernetes, ArgoCD** and **Helm**. o   Experience with **hybrid VM lifecycle/provisioning** tools (e.g. HPE Morpheus) spanning AWS and on-premise infrastructure. o   Experience with **AWS IAM** management – users, groups, roles, policies. o   Familiarity with **software lifecycle tools**. o   Hands-on experience with **release management processes** for multi-application environments. o   Understanding of **CI/CD best practices** and **Infrastructure-as-Code** (Terraform, Ansible). o   Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash). o   Comfortable using AI to write software. - College or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering program, or equivalent. **Nice-to-Have** o   Exposure to or interest in building out **on-premise self-hosted runner infrastructure** (Linux/Windows) is an asset. o   Knowledge of **SOC2 compliance** or other security standards. o   Familiarity with **monitoring and observability tools** (Prometheus and Grafana). - AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect). **Soft Skills** o   Strong organizational and planning skills for managing multiple priorities. o   Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. o   Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Enthusiasm and a problem-solving attitude. - Independent and willing to take initiative. - With a continuous improvement mindset, you enjoy finding innovative solutions to complex problems. **Why Work at March Networks?** o   Global Exposure o   Medical/Dental benefits offered immediately from Day 1 o   Health club reimbursement o   Professional development support o   Company holiday closure March Networks is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse workforce.
