**Position Overview:**

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an **RN Pediatric PACU** to fill an opening at an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center located in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate will provide specialized post-operative care to pediatric patients, ensuring safe recovery and optimal outcomes in a dynamic academic medical center environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, monitor vital signs and recovery progress, administer medications, collaborate with surgical teams, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-   **Licensure:** Current New York State RN license.
-   **Certification:**

-   BLS certification (current or able to recertify); Must not have had a professional license or certification suspended or investigated
-   Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim.

-   **Experience:**

-   Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital.
-   Travelers will only be considered if they are experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.

-   **Technical Skills:** EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
-   **Soft Skills:** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
