## Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Virtual Medical Scribe** to support a busy U.S.-based medical practice specializing in Orthopedics, Pain Management, Spine, and Workers’ Compensation cases.

This role focuses primarily on **real-time medical scribing** during patient visits while also assisting with patient communication, intake coordination, QME outreach, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong medical terminology knowledge, experience working in fast-paced clinical environments, and excellent communication skills.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Perform real-time medical scribing using iPad-based workflows
-   Accurately document patient encounters in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
-   Assist providers with chart preparation and clinical documentation
-   Handle inbound and outbound patient calls professionally
-   Support appointment coordination and patient intake processes
-   Maintain organized documentation and communication
-   Support general administrative and patient coordination tasks

## Requirements

-   Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role within a U.S.-based healthcare setting
-   Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation processes
-   Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
-   Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
-   Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

### Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $7 – $8 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM PST.
