## Description

**Junior IT Developer**

**Hours**: 37.5 hours, full-time, Monday-Friday

**Start date:**  as soon as possible – subject to notice period

**Reporting to:** Head of Technology

**Rate of Pay:** £35,000 - £42,000 per annum FTE (dependant on experience)

**Location:**  This role is remote; however, you will need to be easily able to travel to London if required.

We are looking for a Full-Stack JavaScript developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. You will be responsible for new development, enhancements and support existing platform using JavaScript full stack environment.

**What we’re looking for:**

_Essential_

-   Ability to work under own initiative and manage workload appropriately
-   Minimum of 1 years JavaScript experience
-   Familiarity with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
-   Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular & React. Angular is a plus
-   Familiarity with server-side languages Node.js
-   Familiarity with SQL relational database technology. PostgresSQL is a plus
-   CI/CD pipeline automation experience
-   Some experience with the core AWS services is a plus
-   Familiarity with GIT source control
-   Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-   Attention to detail

**As a Junior IT Developer, you will be:**

-   Supporting the Senior IT developers with the complete software development process from conception to deployment
-   Assisting maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
-   Assisting the IT Team with the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
-   Overseeing and guiding the analysing, writing, building, and deployment of software
-   Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
