## Description

We are seeking a Principal Manufacturing & Assembly Engineer who can develop manufacturing processes and assembly methods that transition designs into reliable, repeatable production. 

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design and develop rocket propulsion structures, motor cases, nozzles, and flight hardware
-   Perform structural and thermal finite element analysis (FEA)
-   Select and qualify metals, composites, ceramics, insulation, and thermal protection materials
-   Support additive manufacturing design and qualification
-   Lead structural failure investigations and corrective actions
-   Support component qualification, static-fire testing, and flight testing
-   Collaborate with manufacturing, test, propulsion, and systems engineering teams
-   Improve structural performance, manufacturability, weight, and reliability

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications

-   BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Materials Engineering
-   5+ years designing aerospace structural components
-   Experience with ANSYS and/or Abaqus
-   Strong understanding of composites and aerospace materials
-   U.S. Citizenship (ITAR)

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Rocket propulsion or missile structures
-   Thermal protection systems (TPS)
-   Active DoD Security Clearance
-   Experience supporting propulsion testing or flight hardware qualification
