## Description

**About the Role**  
We are looking for a hands-on Application Developer & Support Engineer to own and optimize our FINIQ core platform environment. This role blends backend development, database engineering, and tier-2/3 production support — ideal for someone who can both build and firefight.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Write, debug, and tune complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
-   Ensure database integrity, high availability, and optimal performance across the FINIQ environment
-   Build and maintain backend services using the .NET (C#) framework
-   Design, build, and execute automated testing frameworks for validation
-   Provide tier-2/3 technical support, resolving complex application bottlenecks
-   Engineer reliable CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual deployment intervention
-   Audit existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose process/technical improvements
-   Leverage Node.js and .NET to integrate modern APIs and microservices
-   Manage, maintain, and optimize the FINIQ core application environment end-to-end

**Required Skills & Experience**

-   8+ years of experience in .NET/C# backend development
-   Strong hands-on expertise in MS SQL Server (query tuning, stored procedures, triggers, performance optimization)
-   Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation
-   Familiarity with Node.js for API/microservices integration
-   Experience building or maintaining automated testing frameworks
-   Prior exposure to core banking / trading / financial platforms preferred (FINIQ experience a strong plus)
-   Strong tier-2/3 production support background — comfortable being the escalation point

**Nice to Have**

-   Experience with high-availability database architectures
-   Exposure to microservices architecture in regulated/financial environments
