## Description

-   Perform routine maintenance and repair work on electrical and automation systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
-   Diagnose electrical and automation problems by using testing devices, such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters, to identify faults.
-   Leadership and Oversight: Collaborate with direct supervisors on scheduling and planning activities.
-   Resource Management: Allocate materials, tools, and equipment efficiently, ensuring all resources are available for workshop activities.
-   Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety training and inspections to maintain a safe working environment. Proper housekeeping of special tools and workshop environment to be clean and free from hazard
-   Quality Control: Monitor work processes and outcomes to ensure adherence to high-quality standards, promptly addressing any issues.
-   Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with team members, management, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
-   Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues efficiently, utilizing critical thinking and resourcefulness.

## Requirements

-   At least 3 years of combined experience with Cummins and Caterpillar engines, including proficiency in diagnostic tools like ET Laptop; certification from Cummins and Caterpillar is a plus.
-   At least 5 years of electrical and automation troubleshooting experiences in all other shipboard system with relation to DEIF, Terasaki, and other power management system for example, alternator, AVR etc.
-   Flexible and willing to learn attitude.
