**About the Client**

A full-service creative agency producing photo, video, and digital marketing content for education organizations and mission-driven brands is looking for a Studio Operations Manager to own the full project lifecycle from client intake to final delivery.

With a 15-year track record, more than 1,100 clients served, and over 2,200 completed projects, the agency is an established, bootstrapped operation now formalizing the operational infrastructure that supports its growing roster of national brands. The team works out of a dedicated studio facility while collaborating with remote production staff and freelancers across the US.

**About the Role**

As Studio Operations Manager, you'll partner directly with clients to translate goals into briefs, timelines, and milestones; build and rebalance production schedules across editors and photo/video crews; run QC reviews on audio, color, exposure, pacing, and platform specs; and standardize SOPs to lift throughput and consistency. Success means projects ship on time, on spec, and on brief.

**Core Responsibilities**

Client Leadership & Project Direction

- Partner with clients to translate goals, brand guidelines, and scope into clear briefs, timelines, and milestones
- Lead project reviews and approvals, delivering both technical QC notes (audio, color, exposure, pacing, specs) and creative critique (story, tone, composition, brand fit)
- Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact from intake through final delivery

Scheduling & Resource Management

- Build and rebalance production schedules and resource plans across editors and photo/video crews based on capacity and deadlines
- Maintain up-to-date project status trackers and dashboards using Monday.com and equivalent tools
- Plan staffing levels and schedule freelancers and vendors as project needs require

Workflow & Delegation

- Delegate tasks to editors and photo/video staff to optimize throughput and meet deadlines
- Define assignments, handoff criteria, file-naming conventions, and review checkpoints
- Standardize SOPs to improve speed, quality, and consistency across projects

Quality Control & Delivery

- Run QC reviews on audio, color, exposure, pacing, and platform-specific delivery specs before client presentation
- Implement feedback loops and QC checklists to ensure technical accuracy and brand compliance
- Maintain project trackers, drive catalogs, and invoice reporting documentation

## Requirements

**Must-Have**

- 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience inside a creative agency or production studio managing photo, video, and marketing deliverables
- Demonstrated project management across concurrent client projects with documented timelines, milestones, and resource plans
- Working proficiency in Monday.com (or equivalent PM platform), Frame.io, and Vimeo
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and macOS-based creative workflows
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite post-production workflows (editing, color, audio)
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical QC feedback on audio, color, exposure, pacing, aspect ratios, and platform-specific delivery specs
- C1+ English proficiency (CEFR)

**Nice-to-Have**

- Experience with HoneyBook, Dubsado, or comparable client CRM/contract platforms
- Prior work with education sector or mission-driven brand clients
- Experience coordinating US-based creative teams across Pacific Time zones
- Track record of designing and rolling out SOPs across creative production teams
- Experience scheduling and managing freelance editors, photographers, and videographers[](https://www.loom.com/share/863b8e426e6d48309aa8f4ea4c1c94cd)
