## Description

We are looking for an English Teacher for an International school located in Guangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August 2026 start.

Job Responsibilities

-   Teach English to secondary school students utilizing the MYP and DP curriculum to deliver engaging and effective lessons
-   Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and learning materials in line with curriculum requirements
-   Mark and evaluate student work, and write clear and accurate report comments
-   Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and ongoing improvement
-   Assess and monitor student progress, setting clear goals to support achievement and growth
-   Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers
-   Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes student development

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in English, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related field
-   Two or more years of teaching experience, preferably with secondary/middle school learners
-   IB MYP/DP experience preferred; training or certification in IB programmes an advantage

## Benefits

-   Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
