Qualix D.O.O.Beograd is the Serbian entity of the international Adrian Magnus brand, part of the Carazo Enterprise Group founded in 2012. ### The Role

This is a senior leadership position with real ownership over the entire people function. You will design and implement the HR systems, processes, and team structures that enable us to hire at scale, retain the best talent, and build a high-accountability culture across all offices and remote teams.

You will report directly to the CEO/COO and manage a growing team of recruiters, with the mandate and authority to build the function properly — from the ground up.

### What You Will Own

### Recruitment Leadership  (30%)

-   Own end-to-end recruitment strategy across the EU, USA, and Latam
-   Lead and develop a team of mid and senior recruiters
-   Maintain time-to-fill targets of ≤ 30 days
-   Serve as the final decision-maker on culture-fit assessments and senior-level hires
-   Continuously improve sourcing channels, hiring funnels, and recruitment tooling

### HR Architecture & Policy  (30%)

-   Build the company's HR foundation: Employee Handbook, policies, and SOPs
-   Design and implement performance management systems — KPIs, 1:1 frameworks, review cycles, and improvement plans
-   Create clear accountability structures with transparent expectations and escalation paths

### People Operations & Retention  (25%)

-   Identify and address the root causes of turnover with data-driven retention strategies
-   Build a structured onboarding experience from offer acceptance through Day 90
-   Strengthen alignment and engagement across office and remote teams

### Compliance & HR Governance  (15%)

-   Ensure full compliance with Serbian labor law for locally employed staff
-   Oversee contractor and B2B agreements for international team members
-   Maintain relevant partnerships to manage legal and operational risk

## Requirements

### What We're Looking For

### Must-Haves

-   5+ years in HR with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
-   Proven international recruitment experience — personally closing roles across multiple markets, not just managing a team that does
-   Hands-on track record of building HR processes from scratch (not just improving existing ones)
-   Experience owning tough people decisions: PIPs, terminations, senior stakeholder pushback
-   Fluent English, C1 or above — comfortable running senior interviews, negotiations, and difficult conversations entirely in English
-   Relevant Bachelor's degree (HR, Psychology, Business, or similar)
-   Ability to work on-site in Belgrade

-   Spanish language skills (strong advantage)

-   Process optimization background
-   Employee lifecycle management across multi-country teams
