## Description

**We are** seeking an experienced **Mechanical Technician** to support mechanical maintenance activities within a **petrochemical environment**.

### Position Overview

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for supporting Mechanical Engineers and carrying out technical maintenance activities on **rotating and static equipment**, ensuring equipment and mechanical operations are maintained to the required quality standards.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assist Mechanical Engineers in the **design and maintenance of machinery, products, and equipment**.
-   Inspect mechanical equipment and operating systems and carry out necessary **corrections and adjustments**.
-   Support maintenance activities for **rotating and static equipment**.
-   Ensure mechanical operations, standards, and controls are maintained at a **high level of quality**.
-   Provide technical support and guidance to **lower-level technicians**.
-   Identify and report mechanical equipment issues and support corrective maintenance activities.
-   Work closely with Mechanical Engineers and maintenance teams to ensure reliable equipment operation.

## Requirements

Minimum **Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical discipline**.

Minimum **5 years of relevant experience**.

Strong hands-on experience maintaining **rotating and static equipment**.

Experience in the **petrochemical industry is required**.

Good technical knowledge of mechanical maintenance and equipment.

Ability to provide technical support to junior/lower-level technicians.

Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
