### What will you be doing | Ngā whainga

The Trade Marketing Executive plays a critical link between Tourism New Zealand and the travel trade ecosystem. The role is responsible for the execution of Tourism New Zealand’s business development and B2B marketing communications strategies for Australian and ensures that travel partners and advisors are equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and motivation to promote New Zealand effectively. You’ll play a key role in strengthening New Zealand’s brand and driving visitor growth.

We do this by developing digital and content marketing campaigns, building partnerships with travel trade, delivering impactful training and events, hosting familiarisation trips and product development initiatives. The role works closely with the Trade Development Manager to ensure the delivery of impactful paid and owned campaigns that deliver results and benefit brand New Zealand.

### **What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga**

-   Relevant tertiary degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism or related discipline
-   Proven experience within business development and account management
-   Digital marketing experience (2+ years) with demonstrated understanding across the digital media mix, including social media, CRM database marketing, and working with external media agencies.
-   Previous experience within the tourism industry is desirable
-   Website content management skills
-   A good understanding of B2B marketing
-   Event coordination experience
-   Presentation and stakeholder management skills
-   Project Management capabilities
-   Knowledge of New Zealand as a product and destination is beneficial
-   Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally
