## Description

Responsibilities include:

Marketing and Communications

• Work with the local leadership team and the Group Head Marketing & Communications to define,

execute and evaluate the Marketing & Communications strategy for West African Projects and and

other target markets.

• Manage and grow Rendeavour’s marcoms team in Nigeria and Ghana to ensure we deliver across all

KPIs.

• Implement a programme of events, advertising, digital media, Public Relations and other initiatives that

support sales, generate leads, and drive customer engagement.

• Conceive, design, source and effectively manage branded marketing and communication materials,

creatives, data, etc. that will drive better/higher conversions across earned, owned and paid media.

• Effectively leverage data to design, assess, and improve the effectiveness of marcoms campaigns.

• Engage and manage marcoms vendors to help us deliver on our brand vision and marcoms plan.

• Manage Alaro City social media channels and manage social media content to drive engagement.

• Put in place a PR programme to engage with journalists and producers and ensure a positive

representation of Alaro City and Rendeavour across earned media.

• Create awareness of the business and our offerings through thought leadership programs, such

as events and the placement of opinion pieces.

• Communicate key news and milestones across all media channels.

• Provide analysis of existing PR environment and brand perception with target audiences, identify key

risks to the brand from the PR and marketing perspective, and prepare and manage crisis

communications where appropriate.

• Organise product launches, ATL & BTL campaigns and other events that attract buyers to the project

sites.

• Produce and distribute regular newsletters to relevant internal/external stakeholders and sales and

marketing databases.

• Proactively manage marketing and PR consultants where applicable.

• Identify relevant stakeholders and build awareness of, trust and loyalty to the brand. Liaise with,

engage and manage stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain a database of relevant stakeholders to the project for marketing purposes.

• Promote company spokespersons through targeted commentary and interviews in relevant

business and trade media.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key media (TV, print, online), coordinate and

manage media engagements to promote the project and actively hunt and develop media

features and stories about project milestones.

• Ensure all marketing and communications activities run cost efficiently to budget and align with

the wider objectives of Rendeavour, while tracking return on investments to targets.

• Plan and execute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and analyse impact on both the

company and the beneficiaries every quarter.

• Support the development and dissemination of employee communications initiatives.

• Own the weekly marcoms reporting and activity impact assessment.

• Prepare marketing related presentations to senior management and potential clients as needed.

• Work in conjunction with the local leadership team to develop employer branding campaigns to support

hiring.

• Ensure use of Salesforce CRM platform by all team members to manage leads and track the

effectiveness of campaigns.

• Regularly analyse competitor offerings and trends.

• Maintain a good knowledge of the property market locally and internationally to make effective

decisions about our marcoms strategy and differentiation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with agents and brokers to assist in the sales process.

## Requirements

10-15 years’ experience in sales, marketing, corporate communications, media relations, advertising

and event management in reputable companies.

• Excellent written and oral communication, producing copywriter-or professional journalist-level text in

English.

• Proven leadership and managerial experience.

• Strong ability in: planning, branding, design and digital.

• Knowledge of multi-channel marketing/communication processes and the local media.

• Very strong analytical skills.

• Experience and skills and marketing and communications technologies, platforms and use of data.

• Previous exposure to emerging or frontier markets.

• International product and brand communications experience highly desirable.
