**ABOUT THE ROLE**  
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its cardiothoracic surgery and advanced surgical care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its growing clinical team. **ROLE OVERVIEW**  
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac anaesthesia teams, intensivists, perfusion specialists, allied health professionals, and modern surgical infrastructure.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**  
• Evaluate and manage patients requiring cardiothoracic surgical intervention and complex surgical care.  
• Perform cardiothoracic procedures according to expertise, clinical privileges, and facility capabilities.  
• Manage preoperative assessment, surgical planning, operative care, and postoperative follow-up.  
• Collaborate with cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, intensive care, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.  
• Participate in clinical discussions, surgical reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.  
• Maintain accurate documentation, informed consent processes, infection control standards, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon candidates holding recognised qualifications such as:

• American Board of Thoracic Surgery  
• UK CCT / FRCS Cardiothoracic Surgery  
• European Board / national cardiothoracic specialist certification  
• Royal College Certification (Canada)  
• Australian FRACS  
• Arab Board  
• MCh / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
