### **What's the role?**

Official job title is Commercial Manager - Strategy and will be based in Dubai, UAE.

The role is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that support the organization's investment portfolio, business growth objectives, and geographic expansion plans. The role provides strategic guidance through market intelligence, investment analysis, location strategy, and organizational growth assessments. Working closely with senior leadership, investment teams, Finance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and business stakeholders, the Strategy Manager evaluates investment opportunities, conducts market and talent analyses, develops business cases, and delivers actionable recommendations that drive sustainable growth and value creation. Key responsibilities include:

**Corporate Investment Strategy**

-   Support the development and execution of the organization's corporate investment strategy and long-term growth agenda.
-   Assess investment opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic business initiatives.
-   Develop financial models, business cases, and return-on-investment analyses to support investment decisions.
-   Evaluate portfolio performance and identify opportunities for expansion, optimization, or divestment.
-   Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities that align with the organization's strategic objectives.

**Strategic Planning & Business Growth**

-   Lead strategic planning activities and support the development of multi-year business strategies.
-   Identify new growth opportunities across markets, sectors, and business lines.
-   Conduct scenario planning and strategic assessments to support executive decision-making.
-   Develop strategies that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and long-term competitiveness.
-   Support enterprise-wide transformation and growth initiatives.

**Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis**

-   Conduct detailed market, industry, and competitive analyses to inform investment and business decisions.
-   Monitor economic conditions, regulatory developments, and industry trends impacting investment strategies.
-   Deliver insights and recommendations through executive-level reports and presentations.
-   Maintain intelligence on emerging markets, industry disruptions, and competitor activities.

**Geographic Expansion Strategy**

-   Lead assessments of potential expansion markets based on business demand, investment potential, operational feasibility, and talent availability.
-   Develop location strategies for new offices, hubs, and corporate investments.
-   Evaluate regional economic conditions, labor markets, operating costs, and business ecosystems to support expansion decisions.
-   Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize geographic growth opportunities.

**Organizational Growth & Operating Model Design**

-   Support organizational design reviews and operating model assessments associated with growth initiatives.
-   Evaluate resource requirements, organizational structures, and capability gaps to support investment and expansion objectives.
-   Identify opportunities to improve workforce efficiency, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
-   Support strategic initiatives related to automation, digital transformation, and capability building.

### **Who are we looking for?**

-   Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field.
-   MBA, CFA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
-   With 5–7+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy and Investments, Investment Banking, Business Transformation, Financial Due Diligence or Investment Management
