## Description

**SYNTAX IT Group** is seeking a skilled and results-driven **Mid ITGRC Security Engineer** to join its professional services team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our organization’s security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  

**Key Responsibilities:**

  

-   Implementing Security Solutions: Leading the deployment and configuration of cybersecurity systems and tools, ensuring they are tailored to meet client needs.
-   Training & Supporting customers or Managing Security Solutions on behalf of the customer the security solutions provided
-   Providing expert troubleshooting for cybersecurity solutions, diagnosing and resolving issues that arise during or after implementation.
-   Collaborating with customers to assess and enhance the organization’s security posture.
-   Reviewing and assessing existing controls to identify gaps or opportunities for improvement
-   Consulting on new technologies within the portfolio

  

**Skills & Qualifications:**

  

-   B.Sc. degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-   M.Sc. degree will be considered a plus.
-   A minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering and with hands-on experience with various tools across relevant domains, especially the ones of:
-   Infrastructure and Application Security
-   Data Governance and Data BackUp
-   Identity Management and Access Control
-   Vulnerability Assessment Management
-   Incident Response & Threat Intelligence
-   Strong knowledge of security standards, frameworks or legislations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2 / DORA, PCI DSS and GDPR compliance) will be considered a plus
-   Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP) are highly regarded.
-   Familiarity with various operating systems and networking protocols to ensure effective integration of security solutions.
-   Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft server systems (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and Cloud Technologies
-   Familiarity with Office 365 administration and Microsoft SQL Server.

-   Proficiency in both Greek and English, with effective communication and presentation abilities.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work collaboratively or independently as required.
-   Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
