For Season 2027, we are looking for an experienced and motivated **Assistant Housekeeping Manager** to join the **Housekeeping team at MarBella in Corfu**.

### The Role

As **Assistant Housekeeping Manager**, you will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the department and the consistent delivery of MarBella’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest care.

You will support the coordination, supervision and development of the Housekeeping team, monitor quality standards across guest rooms and hotel areas, and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

This is a hands-on management role for a hospitality professional who combines **strong operational knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to lead, support and develop people**.

### A Day in the Job

Exceptional Housekeeping is about much more than cleanliness – it is about consistency, attention to detail and creating a sense of comfort from the moment a guest enters their room.

Here’s what a typical day at MarBella could look like:

-   You start by reviewing room status, daily priorities, special guest requirements and team assignments with the Housekeeping Manager.
-   You coordinate and supervise daily Housekeeping operations, ensuring that workloads and priorities are managed efficiently.
-   You inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices and Food & Beverage outlets to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and readiness.
-   You monitor room readiness and follow up on any issues that could affect the guest experience.
-   You identify maintenance needs, damages or operational concerns and coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to ensure timely resolution.
-   You respond to guest requests and special requirements promptly, professionally and with discretion.
-   You guide, support and motivate Housekeeping team members throughout the shift, helping them perform confidently and consistently.
-   You contribute to the onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members.
-   You monitor Housekeeping supplies, linen, guest amenities and equipment, supporting efficient stock and inventory management.
-   You work closely with **Front Office, Maintenance and other hotel departments** to ensure clear communication and seamless daily operations.
-   You help ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety requirements and all Housekeeping procedures.
-   You provide operational feedback and support the Housekeeping Manager in identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and team performance.
-   Above all, you **lead by example**, bringing Mar-Bella Collection’s standards of care, professionalism and hospitality to life every day.

### Is This You?

**Essential qualifications:**

-   At least **2 years of relevant experience** in a Housekeeping supervisory role within the hotel industry.
-   Previous experience as an **Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor or similar role**, preferably within a four- or five-star hotel or luxury resort.
-   Strong supervisory and people-management skills.
-   Good knowledge of Housekeeping operations, procedures and quality standards.
-   Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
-   Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-   Good command of **Greek and English**.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
-   Proactive approach to problem-solving and daily operational challenges.
-   Hospitality school graduate or equivalent relevant education.

**Additional qualifications – a plus:**

-   Previous experience in a five-star or luxury hospitality environment.
-   Computer literacy and experience using **Property Management Systems (PMS)**.
-   Experience with Housekeeping inventory, linen and supply management.
-   Additional training or qualification in Hospitality or Housekeeping Management.
