## Description

Optimiza is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and enhance our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, combined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex network environments. This role will be crucial in ensuring optimal network performance and security for our operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Design, implement, and manage network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
-   Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network needs and deliver suitable solutions.
-   Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
-   Document network configurations, processes, and operational guidelines.
-   Conduct regular network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize network efficiency.
-   Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network engineers.
-   Stay updated on emerging network technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-   5+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
-   Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS).
-   Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) and network management tools.
-   Proficiency in network security best practices and technologies.
-   Hands-on experience with configuring and managing Cisco or other enterprise network devices.
-   Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
-   Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, JNCIP) are preferred.
-   Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
