**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Focus Interpreting is searching for a talented Simultaneous English - Italian Interpreter to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will provide real-time interpretation services during events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring that English and Italian speakers can communicate effectively.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

-   Deliver seamless simultaneous interpretation between English and Italian during various events and professional settings.
-   Maintain accuracy and clarity while interpreting, ensuring that messages are conveyed faithfully and without alteration.
-   Adhere to best practices in the field of interpretation, including respecting confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
-   Continuously improve language and interpretation skills through ongoing training and practice.
-   Prepare for interpretation assignments by reviewing relevant subject matter and potential terminology.

**REQUIREMENTS:**

-   Fluency in both English and Italian, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages.
-   Experience in simultaneous interpretation, preferably in a conference or event setting.
-   Strong cultural awareness and understanding of both languages to enhance effective communication.
-   Ability to focus and perform under pressure in dynamic environments.
-   Relevant certification in interpretation is preferred.
