## Description

We are currently looking for a **Senior Accounts Payable Specialist** to manage all outgoing payments, processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments to vendors while maintaining positive vendor relationships.

**Schedule:** This role requires full-time, onsite presence, Monday through Friday, at our Santa Ana, CA location.

**Your Essential Duties:**

-   Ensure thorough review of invoices and payments for accuracy and completeness.

-   Review and update processes for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.
-   Review and verify Purchase Orders and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy in coding.
-   Reconcile accounts payable aging report to general ledger balances.
-   Ensure purchase orders related to purchases made exclusively for Customers are submitted to billing team in a timely manner.
-   Assist with preparing correct and timely budget reports and purchase journals.
-   Participate in the recordkeeping of purchases for use in tax preparation and periodic audits.
-   Ensure W9s have been collected from all vendors prior to paying vendors and to ensure accurate and timely preparation of year-end 1099s.
-   Assist Staff Accountant team with accounting reconciliations as needed.
-   Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assist with month-end closing tasks.
-   Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records to assist in audits.
-   Perform other related duties as assigned.

## Requirements

**What You Bring:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
-   Five to seven years of AP experience and training.
-   Experience managing processes.
-   NetSuite experience is preferred.
-   Experience with AP automation software is preferred.
